After moving to London from Scotland Show N Prove has established himself as one of the top British producers collaborating with both major acts and underground artists.

2012 has been a huge year in the career of the young Scottish DJ/Producer. He has toured with Dappy, DJ Fresh, Angel Haze, Mac Miller and Pusha T as well as the MOBO tour and various festivals around Europe. Producing for the likes of Wretch 32, Rizzle Kicks, Tinchy Stryder, Dappy, K Koke, Maxsta, Stooshe and tracks lined up with Tinie Tempah, Professor Green, Dot Rotten, Roll Deep and Giggs for 2013.

Gaining continued support from taste makers on BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM and Choice aswell as BBC Radio1 from the likes of Nick Grimshaw, Zane Lowe, Fearne Cotton and Annie Mac.

@BobiiLewis drops a hot new track ‘Grenade’

New London artist Bobii Lewis has been hailed as one of the UK’s most exciting up and coming talents, working with a range of recognised artists from the urban scene such as Joe Black, Fearless DukuMan and Young Don to stamp his mark on the UK music industry. A rapper, producer, singer/song writer and actor, there is truly no limit to his skills. Bobii has already been tipped by Radio 1 DJ Reggie Yates as one of his favourite new artists and has spent two weeks as a featured artist on Channel AKA’s ’music of the week’.

Hailing from North East London, Bobii officially hit the scene in January 2011 with the release of The Invasion Mixtape. A mini tour followed, with performances across the UK at live events including The Sunday Show, Flavour Mag Live, Something For Sundays, Sunday Night Live and The Cosy Show. Bobii then moved onto his second Mixtape, with the release of The Mashup EP Mixtape and the subsequent Mashup Campaign which saw him release a new video online for each song every two weeks, gaining an impressive 370,000+ views on his official YouTube channel.

Bobii has since been interviewed on numerous radio stations including BBC Radio 1Xtra’s ‘CJ Beats Soundcheck Show’ and Choice FM’s ‘DJ Woody Show’. With performances at Bigga Fish at XOYO and The O2 supporting Rick Ross under his belt, 2012 has been Bobii’s biggest year yet.

So Bobii is now ready to step out on his own with a new track simply titled Grenade produced by Calvin Kooley Puckett and Kelby Clarke who between them have worked with artists such as Lil Wayne, Jamie Foxx, R. Kelly, Snoop Dogg and P Diddy. The single has complimented Bobii’s recent role as a frustrated youth ‘caught in the system’ in a short film set to premiere at BAFTA in October 2012. Bobii’s role in the short is channelled into the Grenade music video where he appears as an angry youth who’s frustration is depicted in the video with the help of special effects transforming half his face into a Freddy Krueger type character alongside Pauline Pearce who plays the ‘firm hand’ needed to control today’s youth movement. The video has been directed by director Quason Matthews who is responsible for Dot Rotten’s Overload and Sneakbo’s Sing For Tomorrow featuring L Marshell, amongst others.

@OnlyWayIsEssex is coming to the BIG screen!

Get ready for more fake tans, fake lashes, hair extensions and love triangles. All you TOWIE fans will be pleased to know that the Essex crew will be coming to the BIG screen as the popular ITV1 show is made into a full length movie! TOWIE star Gemma Collins, 31, reveals to The Sun: ‘Yeah it’s gonna happen. If Sex And The City can do it so can we. We don’t know where it will be filmed, we don’t know when, but I mean we’re just normal people with crazy lives. We’re out every night of the week!’ Gemma hopes previous cast members Mark Wright, Amy Childs and Lauren Goodger come back for the project.

However it doesn’t look promising that Lauren Goodger will be appearing in the reunion after the break up with ex-fiance Mark Wright. She hints that she may not be coming back to the fourth series of the show saying ’It’s horrible going through any break up but it’s even worse doing it in-front of the cameras. Maybe it’s time for me to move on.’

TOWIE began in 2010 showing the real life of people who live in Brentwood, Essex in modified situations in an unscripted but structured way showing the ups and downs of their everyday lives. As it is now successfully on the way to the big screen, maybe an OSCAR is awaiting the TOWIE cast?

‘Of course I’d consider 50 Shades of Grey the movie!’ Jake Gyllenhaal @GyllenhaalJake to consider playing ‘Christian Grey’

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal who stars in the hit movie Source Code, has been asked if he would consider taking on the role of the dominant Christian Grey from E.L. James’ erotic novel ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’. The Golden Globe nominee is excited to be casted as the leading role of Christian Grey and he is, eager to make the part his own. ‘Yeah, of course! I always want to work, man, of course. It’s always nice to be considered.’

However there are many other sex symbols that have also been considered for the lead role of kinky Christian Grey, including Channing Tatum, Ryan Gosling, Ian Somerhalder, Chris Pine and Matt Bromer so we are just going to have to wait and who the sexy kinky guy shall be.

The book ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ written by E.L. James which has sold up to £84 million copies and has been the highlight of our conversations since it first published in March this year. E.L. James refuses to reveal any names of who she would prefer to cast for the characters in her book saying: ‘You might end up with somebody else.’ However she did reveal during an appearance on U.S. newswomen: ‘I’ve actually written myself into the book; I play a very tiny cameo role and I might try and do that if I’m asked to… We’ll see. But it’d be interesting to know if people can find me in the books.’

@LadyGaga smokes weed live on stage!

Lady Gaga smoked a joint live on stage yesterday in Amsterdam to a massive cheer from her thousands of fans on her ‘Born This Way’ tour. Praising the ‘wondrous’ drug, Gaga told fans she had cut down on drinking alcohol because she prefers smoking weed and revealed it has actually helped her make music from a ‘spiritual’ perspective. She told The Sun newspaper: ‘I want you to know it has totally changed my life and I’ve really cut down on drinking. It has been a totally spiritual experience for me with my music. It’s like saying everybody needs to take a breath and it’s going to be OK.’

As she paid tribute to the ‘medical wonders’ of marijuana, Mother Monster said she thought Amsterdam was the ‘appropriate place’ to tell her Little Monsters about her feelings for the drug but which drew mix reactions. One fan tweeted: ‘Stop Smoking Marijuana Gaga. No Drugs Just Art. @ladygaga Stop please!!’ while another wrote: ‘What a role model to kids ey?’. She has even joked that she will convince President Barack Obama to legalize cannabis in the United States.

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, has admitted to battling with hard drugs in the past but now occasionally smokes cannabis after taking some much needed advice from her father. She explained: ‘My dad was like, “I know what you’re doing, and just so you know, I did it and I lost every friend and everything that I ever had while I did it.” He shared with me his life story and his struggle, so that was what ultimately changed my life. Honestly it was the best thing that happened. I never went back.’

Lady Gaga is currently on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour consisting of 110 shows in Asia, New Zealand, Australia and currently Europe, followed by Latin America and South Africa towards the end of the year and then North America early 2013.

Sir Tom Jones, Wretch 32 and VV Brown have been announced for the first ever Arthur’s Day show in Great Britain. The event was launched in 2009 to mark the 250th anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing the 9.000 lease on the famous pub. On September 28, Wretch will be supporting headline act Tom Jones and has said: ‘I can’t wait to celebrate Arthur’s Day with the British public and kick off the first event in GB. ‘I’m really looking forward to performing alongside Mr Tom Jones and a raising pint of the black stuff to Arthur!’ People will be able to tune in and watch the performances live via YouTube.

@ChrisBrown abuse warning labels may have helped ‘Fortune’ album sales

Sales of Chris Brown’s album Fortune may have actually been boosted by prank labels warning customers that he ‘beats women’. Images showing copies of the singer’s album displaying the warnings, which refer to his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, went viral last week after pranksters targeted the shelves of an HMV store outside London. Sources claim that while the pranksters ‘got their point across pretty effectively’, it may have actually helped boost sales as it meant widespread coverage around the world so now ‘quite a few more people now know there’s a new Chris Brown album out.’

The Queen Bee herself Lil Kim has revealed she is working on a track with rockstar Kelly Osbourne on a rework of Sir Elton John’s 1974 hit ‘The Bitch Is Back’. She told ‘New York Post: ‘I am telling you first that Kelly Osbourne and I are working on a record together! It’s titled ‘The Bitch Is Back’. It is a blend of British rock and rap and you won’t believe your ears when you hear it!’ We can’t wait!

Lil Kim recently fell out with rapper Azealia Banks who is working on her upcoming album ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ (due for release February 2013) after her massive success with her single ’212′. After being insulted by Nicki Minaj coming into the rap game without showing respect to the ‘original Queen of rap’, Lil Kim was rubbed up the wrong way by being sent some lyrics for her to rap by Azealia.

Azealia took to her twitter page to let her fans know exactly what’s going on: ‘Okay so true tea is that Lil Kim got mad that I wrote a verse for her on a record I wanted her on’ she tweeted. She then went on to write: ‘Everyone knows Lil Kim doesn’t write her own raps and I saw this as a faster more efficient way of getting the track done.’ and ‘She then had her assistant write me some long ass offensive email about how Lil Kim writes her own raps and doesn’t need anyone’s help.’

Banks then added: ’So….. My question was and is still… IS SHE DOING THE TRACK? Who cares about what you use to do…. WILL YOU DO THE TRACK??!’ She concluded: “All this extra shit is stupid. Keep closing your own doors ma. @lilkim There is no beef. At all.”
